Welcome to the Lionheart Trust Duke of Edinburgh award page. Here, you can find out more information about the award, what is involved, and how to join in.
Lionheart Trust aims to provide young people with the opportunity to take part and empower them as they learn the skills and face the challenges that come with this award. Across the schools and colleges in the Lionheart Educational Trust there is an active Duke of Edinburgh’s Award programme covering the Bronze, Silver and Gold levels. Each level of the Award has four elements that have to be completed typically over three to twelve months depending on the level.
UK employers frequently endorse the skills and attributes such as resilience, commitment, self-motivation and team working that young people with a DofE Award bring to the workplace. Many give testimonials about how they actively seek out those who have partaken in the award for their determination and aquisition of vital skills.
